50th Facebook live gig
Posted on 22/06/2020
Well it's been a long and lonely road we have all been on here at times. Now the state of emergency has been lifted and we can live in the new normal. There has been tears and moments of despair at when and how we would survive it, but survive it we did. As Lanzarote slowly starts to open cautiously up I can in time work with an audience again. I was privileged to be asked last night to perform my new compositions alfresco at my good friends villa. To once again have an interaction with an Audience was a great feeling and one I have missed.
That said nothing can take away the love I have felt from my live Facebook feeds every other night. Those that have tuned in from the very beginning way back on the 16th March and those that have joined me along the way I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Today Monday 22nd June it's my 50th gig using this medium. So I'm using a PayPal account for this one off event where I will be playing all my own work. To those that already donated when I first announced this I can't begin to say how humble and grateful I am of all your generosity. So for the last time I will post Paypal.me/adrianbambrough
The love and support you have all given me over these months has been overwhelming. My live feeds will continue every other night as long as you want to watch and join in with me. We don't know yet when we will be able to return to our normal gigs or even if former bars we have played in will have been able to survive this lockdown. What this lockdown has shown us is the Generosity of people around us from the money raised from our Lanzarote musicians unite concert to help feed and support those that have been left with nothing. This work with Emerlan is still on going and will be for a long time to come. To the friends where just a chat to know someone is there to listen to them, can make all the difference, we are still there for you anytime. Once again my lovely lady and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on this journey and its onward path. Tonight I look forward to playing some of my new work along with old favourite works of mine. See you all at 7pm bst.
